The US Embassy issued a warning March 25 that it has received information of possible terror attacks in Kampala in the coming days. The diplomatic facility said that attacks could occur at crowded locations where Westerners are known to gather, though it did not reveal any specific site. Upscale locations, including hotels and restaurants popular with expatriates, will likely boost security as a precaution.
UCSF joins our collaborating NGO, FACES in mourning the loss of their colleague in the June 16 2014 blast.
Four UCSF personnel were traveling in Nigeria when the May 1 2014 blast occurred. They contacted their department and Risk Management within 45 minutes.
